Unmanned aerial vehicles are known as jet drones. They can be used in many ways, including surveillance, aerial targeting and logistical support. They can even replace human-piloted fighter pilots. Drones are radio-controlled aircraft that evolved from their first use in WW1. They can now be used to fly more advanced models. The only difference between a helicopter and a plane is the absence of a pilot.
Kratos Defense & Security Solutions created the UTAP-22 (Utility Threat Aerial Platform-22), a military-target drone. This drone can be flied at altitudes between seven and 40,000 feet. You can equip it with numerous electronic upgrades. This upgrade includes an aerodynamic package that can increase fuel efficiency.
The UAV also has a SATCOM receiver, which allows a ground station to communicate with the drone. This is particularly helpful for long-range missions. It also features a machine-vision system that can aid the drone in autonomous navigation.

The drone can also withstand harsh environments. According to the company, the drone can operate under sound and at speeds of up to 500 miles per hour. It can also operate in places without infrastructure.
According to JetQuad VTOL drones can hover precisely in one spot, according to the company. It is designed to withstand adverse weather, unlike other drones. This is why it is able to operate on uneven terrain and in areas where there is no electrical grid. JetQuad is available in several models, starting at $85,000 for a base model and ending at $44,000 for an aerodynamically upgraded model.
Kratos introduced another type of drone: the XQ-222. The Air Force Research Lab recently ordered this UAV. It is a simple design. Designed to fly in areas where the electrical grid is not present, the aircraft can be modified to carry a wide range of payloads.
The U.S. Navy awarded the company a contract worth $50.9 million in December. Kratos also won a $50.9 million contract from the U.S. Navy. Although it didn't give any details, the company said it would take from one to 18 months for the orders to be fulfilled.

Kratos also designed the XQ-58A Valkyrie & XQ-58A Mako that are suitable for manned-uncrewed teaming operations. Kratos is the world's leading supplier of unmanned, jet-powered drones.
Apart from the previously mentioned jet-powered drones, the company also created a drone that can be used indoors. It has an interior weapons bay and a low RSS, making it less sensitive for vibrations and noise.
The U.S. Air Force uses a variety of high-performance tactical plane drones manufactured by Kratos Uncrewed Systems Division. Additionally, the company operates several production lines that annually produce 150 drones.
