A fighter jet is a military aircraft designed specifically for air-to-air combat. These aircraft have advanced weaponry that can be used to strike far away targets at high speed. This makes them highly useful in any conflict.
The Pakistan Air Force has an extensive fleet of fighter planes that are used to defend the country from incoming attacks and to carry out other tasks. These aircraft are highly-trained, capable of performing their duties well. These aircraft are known for their spectacular displays at air shows and flypasts.
These events attract almost all PAF fighter planes, and their performances are remarkable. To commemorate patriotic events such as Pakistan Resolution Day (23rd march), Defence Day (6th september) and Independence Day (14) August), these aircraft are flown by highly skilled pilots.

JF-17 Block 3
The JF-17 Block 3 multirole fighter is lightweight and was first flown in late 2019. It is widely considered to be a 4.5 generation aircraft, with significant improvements over its predecessors. It features advanced avionics and weapons capabilities, giving it considerable advantages over its rival fighters from India - a large majority of which lack similar radars or missiles.
It is Pakistan’s most sophisticated fleet. It also features an advanced radar, avionics, weapons suite, and radar. Pakistani officials expect to purchase at most 50 of these aircraft. In late 2019, the first JF-17 Block 3s will arrive.
The Pakistani JF-17 fighter is a crucial part of their arsenal. This highly-capable, air-to–air fighter can be used for all missions, including ground strikes. It has also been demonstrated to be very effective against Indian anti-missile defense systems.
The JF-17 not only has superior armament but it is also a cost-effective method of modernizing a fighter squadron to a higher standard. It allows the unit to have cutting-edge sensors and data links. This makes it a potential candidate to replace most of the Pakistan's ageing Cold War-era Mirage and J-7 fighters, which are also considered outdated.

It can also be used to destroy surface-to air missiles in flight by employing the highly effective countermeasure system "Crosshair". Crosshair can identify and track enemy aircraft and then engage them at a precise firing rate.
Another important part the Pakistani planes' armament includes the IR/LDWS, which can be used to strike and kill ground targets from the air. This system is often used by the Pakistani army and other forces to strike targets in enemy territory, without coming into direct contact.
J-10C
The J-10C, a Chinese-built fighter jet, is a crucial part of Pakistani armed force's arsenal. It was designed to be an omnirole aircraft that can be used in all kinds of missions. On Friday, the Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan attended a ceremony in which the aircraft was officially handed over to the Pakistani Air Force. The ceremony also was broadcast nationally.
