Seawolf-class submarines are the stealthiest and most deadly attack submarines. The submarines feature a unique electronic suite, which includes a 24-foot spherical array of sonar, eight 660mm torpedo tube, and a Raytheon AN/BQQ-10 (V4) sonar processing device. These systems allow the submarines to operate independently against the most advanced threats. These submarines are equipped with Harpoon anti-ship missiles, Tomahawk TLM cruise missiles, and torpedoes. They have a range effective of 130 km and can carry 50 Torpedoes.

The Seawolf was created to counter Soviet threats of ballistic missile submarines. The submarine can cruise at twenty to five knots and can dive up to 2,000ft. The US's first submarine, the Seawolf, uses a pump-jet propulsion system. This makes it quieter than propeller-driven boats.

The Seawolf class submarines' hulls are made of a high-strength alloy steel. This steel is two inches thick and is designed for greater resistance to water pressure. It also features an eight-tube double deck torpedo room. These submarines can carry 100 marine mines and 50 torpedoes.

The Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics in Connecticut was responsible for the order of the first Seawolf class submarines. The first Seawolf class submarine was commissioned on July 27, 1997. Later, the submarine was reduced to three submarines and renamed USS Jimmy Carter. The submarine was modified to improve underwater manoevability, and was launched in June 2004.

Seawolf-class submarines became necessary after the Soviet Union collapsed. The Soviet Union, which had the largest submarine fleet anywhere in the world, was reduced in number and no longer produced submarines capable to reach the United States. The Seawolf was designed to be ultra-quiet and quiet submarines. The submarine was designed to work autonomously against some of the most formidable and powerful threats in the world. The submarine was equipped with the BSY-2 combat system, which allowed it to engage multiple enemies simultaneously.

Seawolf submarines are capable of carrying a variety of torpedoes, including Gould's Mk 48 ADCAP torpedoes, as well as Tomahawk TLAM cruise missiles and Harpoon anti-ship missiles. The submarine features a satellite link that can transmit battle damage information imagery. It can also be reprogrammed from flight.

The Seawolf sub-sea submarine was the first American submarine design for more than 30 years. It was built to combat the Soviet threat as well as operate autonomously to fight the biggest and most dangerous threats. The submarine was originally meant to attack Vladivostok. Seawolf construction was stopped by the collapse Soviet Union. While the Seawolf's main mission was to counter Soviet aggression and conduct special operations in Europe, it also served other missions. It briefly visited Tronjordan and a coronavirus pandemic.

With a total cost of more than $3B per submarine, the Seawolf-class subs are some of the most expensive. They are also the fastest, most maneuverable and most deadly attack submarines. The submarine can deal with multiple targets simultaneously thanks to its high-performance missiles and weapons load. They can hold fifty torpedoes.
