Army Robots

Robots for military use can now perform many different tasks. Some are autonomous, while others can be remotely controlled. They can be used for transport, search & rescue, and attack missions. They can be equipped using various weapons or sensors. They could also be part the military's ground force.

Centaur

The Centaur army robot is an unmanned ground vehicle that is capable of disarming explosive devices, landmines and other threats. It has a modular payload and an advanced electro-optic/infrared camera suite. It can also detect nuclear, biological, and chemical threats. It has a manipulator hand and can reach objects six feet away. It can support many manned or unmanned operations.

Centaur army robots are used in a wide variety of scenarios. They can be deployed in both domestic or international conflict situations. They are currently being used in Ukraine, for example, to remove unexploded ordnance.

SAFFiR

The SAFFiR robotic army robot is small-to–medium mobile robotic device, equipped with a series of sensors. It is intended to work with Navy officers. It has advanced sensors that include infrared stereo vision, a rotating laser that sees through smoke, and a rotating laser. This allows it not to be knocked down from fire.

Programming can be done on the SAFFiR armoured robot to complete complex tasks like identifying fires and fighting them. They can also respond to natural language and use human-like gestures.

DOGO

DOGO army robotics are made for close quarter combat. They can carry non-lethal pepper spray and a pistol. They can also be equipped with a dazzler and an audio communications microphone. Israel's defense ministry and the counterterrorism unit have given input to the design, and the DOGO is expected to be delivered to special forces this year. These robots are lightweight and can be easily packed in a backpack.

The battery of the DOGO army robot lasts between two and five hours. The robot also features eight cameras that can cover 360 degrees. It comes with a loaded Glock 26 pistol. Picatinny rails enable accessories to be carried on the gun. These non-lethal effects include a dazzler which temporarily blinds attackers within 5-10 meters.
