In the post war, civilians are caught in the middle of a conflict. Post-war societies were transformed by the Cold War and the occupation of Germany and Soviet Union territories. In addition, civilians and neutrals are fleeing the cities in hope of starting a new life somewhere else. These people are limited in what they have to carry, and must find a way from the city to start over.
