Military Laser Applications

A variety of organizations and companies use a military-grade laser weapon to conduct security inspections. They include the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. This commission performs mock raids every day. Some tests can be done on a tabletop basis, while others require actual gunfire. Some of the tests are designed to acquaint the participants with the nitty-gritty of the business. These include conducting "forceon-force" attacks on key facility buildings, testing and assessing the security of various equipments and systems, as well as testing and evaluating the resilience of security personnel.

Diverse technology platforms are used by companies to monitor, manage and control their supply chains. It may be possible to use a military-grade laser weapon system as the next logical step. The University of Middle England recently conducted a test with a tuned-down military grade laser cannon. While it's unclear what they are trying, it's an interesting experiment.

The best part about this exercise is that it involved a small number of companies using the same military-grade laser weapon systems to carry out the tests. It was capable of cutting a hole in a Ford F-150. This isn't the most exciting thing. The laser can create rapidly expanding gas. It also has the ability to transfer large amounts of energy, which can cause an explosion at impact. While some companies have been using the weapon for years, others are only now discovering its potential. The most exciting part of all is that the tests are open to the public.

Along with the test, the test enthusiast is also treated to several perks including a private tour at the plant. These tests are unique and may soon be replicated across the country. This is the most fascinating part of the entire experience. Moreover, the NRC is incorporating new technologies into the testing process, such as using drones to inspect security equipment.
