Fighter jets are military aircraft that are specifically designed for air-to-air warfare. Typically, these aircraft have advanced weaponry and can be used to strike far-off targets at high speed, making them extremely useful in any conflict.
Pakistan Air Force maintains an extensive fleet fighter planes. These aircraft are used to protect the country from potential attacks, as well as other missions. These planes are well-trained and can perform their duties efficiently. These aircraft are known for their spectacular displays at air shows and flypasts.
These events attract almost all PAF fighter planes, and their performances are remarkable. To commemorate patriotic events such as Pakistan Resolution Day (23rd march), Defence Day (6th september) and Independence Day (14) August), these aircraft are flown by highly skilled pilots.

JF-17 Block 3.
The JF-17 Block 3 is a lightweight, multirole fighter that first flew in late 2019. It is widely considered to be a 4.5 generation aircraft, with significant improvements over its predecessors. It boasts advanced avionics capabilities and weapons capabilities that give it an advantage over other fighters from India, many of which lack comparable radars or missiles.
It is Pakistan’s most modern aircraft and comes with a sophisticated radar and avionics system. Pakistani authorities expect to purchase at least 50 aircraft from this manufacturer, with the first JF-17 Block 3s arriving in late 2019.
The Pakistani JF-17 is an essential part of its arsenal. It is an air-to air fighter capable of carrying out all types of missions including air-to ground strikes. It is also a highly effective weapon against Indian radar defense systems.
The JF-17 can modernize fighter units at a lower cost and allows them to use cutting-edge data links, sensors, and weaponry. This makes it a potential candidate to replace most of the Pakistan's ageing Cold War-era Mirage and J-7 fighters, which are also considered outdated.

It can be used by the Crosshair to intercept and destroy surface air-to-air missiles. Crosshair can identify and track enemy aircraft and then engage them at a precise firing rate.
The IR/LDWS system can also be used to target and kill ground-based targets. This is an important part of Pakistani jets’ armament. This system is often used by the Pakistani army and other forces to strike targets in enemy territory, without coming into direct contact.
J-10C
The Chinese-built J-10C fighter jet is a key part of the Pakistani armed forces' arsenal and is designed to be an omni-role aircraft that can be used for all sorts of missions. On Friday, the Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan attended a ceremony in which the aircraft was officially handed over to the Pakistani Air Force. The ceremony also was broadcast nationally.
