Look at countries with nuclear weapons and strong military if you want to find out who has the most powerful military. These countries have superior military forces and can destroy any country in no matter how long it takes. These countries don't have to be the only ones who can devastate countries in a flash. France, India, China, and China all possess advanced military forces. Pakistan is not far behind but doesn't possess a strong nuclear force like France.
China
China has one of the most advanced military forces in the world. They can carry out long-range airborne and reconnaissance missions, as well as amphibious operation. Their air force ranks as the largest in Asia-Pacific, and their submarines have the capability to launch nuclear-armed rockets. China is a major player within the South China Sea. China has its own submarines which can fire on foreign ships.
France
France is not the country with the largest military force in the world. However, it has some the most advanced weapons systems and equipment. Its armed forces are comprised of 57 percent soldiers, 19% airforce, 16 percent navy, 1.3 percent gendarmes, and 19% army personnel. France is home to more than 120 Leclerc tanks, two helicopter carriers, and seventy-one fighter jets. French military is also one the most financially well-funded around the globe.

Israel
The Israeli Defense Forces possess a high technological level, and are ranked amongst the top in the world. With American assistance, they have developed laser technology and anti-missile missiles as well as anti-aircraft weapons.
Iran
While Iran's military capabilities are impressive and it has strong expeditionary warfare capabilities and power projection capabilities, it is severely restricted by these capabilities. It has not been able to seize territory from hostile countries, although it has deployed forces to neighbouring countries like Syria. Its fleet is mostly made up of C-130 transport planes, which makes it vulnerable to modern air force.
Saudi Arabia
The military of Saudi Arabia is the largest in the world, spending around a third of the world's total defense budget in 2017. As of 2017, Riyadh's defence budget was the third highest in the world. The defence budgets do not tell the whole story. To rank military capability properly, countries should consider the quality of weaponry and missile range, as well training, alliances, manpower, local defence industries, and how strong they are.
Turkey
Turkey ranks tenth in the world for military strength. Although it is in a war zone its military is stronger than many western powers. The Turkish Armed Forces (second largest in NATO) also have a highly effective air force. It is home to more than 250 F-16s as well as Awacs and cargo planes. It participates in the F 35 Project and has started developing fifth-generation fighters.

United States
The United States ranks among the top nations in terms of military power. It has vast resources and many advantages over its competitors. Its economy is a thriving global power, it has the world's most highly trained and educated population, and it leads the world in finance and technology. It also leads a network of alliances and partnerships that spans the globe. These include 60 countries, which together make up two-thirds (or more) of the world's population.
