The PL-01 is an advanced tank developed by OBRUM and BAE Systems. It was revealed for first time in 2013, and is based upon the Swedish CV90120T medium tanks. It has a primary weapons consisting of a either 105mm, or 120mm cannon in an unmanned turret.
Adaptiv Technology
The new Polish tank pl-01, which is being developed by Boeing, can be used to disguise its radar and heat signatures. The entire vehicle is thought to be covered with radio-absorbing materials. It also has an exhaust cooling system that makes it difficult to detect.
Invisible Armor
This tank is supposed to have armor that is so good at absorbing incoming radiation that it can be completely invisible to enemy radars. It is said to have the ability to control temperature and fool thermal sensors.

Modern tanks have adaptediv technology as a major feature. This is because it conceals vehicles better than traditional radar reflective coatings. The Adaptiv tech uses hexagonal Peltier plats on the vehicle's surfaces that can absorb and reflect light. It makes it almost inaudible at night, or in bad conditions.
It is believed that it can fool infrared and visual sensors. Although the Adaptiv technology may be able reduce the radar and heat signatures from the PL-01 vehicle, it is not yet clear how it will work or what its impact will be on the overall vehicle.
Polish Army
The Polish army has around 900 main battle tank units. The most popular are the PT-91 Twardys (Leopard 2s) and Leopard 2s (Leopard 2s). The PL-01 modern tank is an attractive option that will prove to be a significant vehicle for the Polish Army in the near future.
This tank is designed to be a direct fire support vehicle with a capacity of three crew members and is meant to work well in confined spaces, such as urban combat zones. The tank is equipped with either a 105mm and 120mm smoothbore gun that can fire both conventional rounds and anti-tank guided missiles. The autoloader can hold 29 rounds, while the turret can store 16 additional rounds.

Other armament includes 7.62mm machine gun, a remotely-controlled weapon station and a 40mm automatic grenade launcher.
Obrum, with technical support from British conglomerate BAE Systems, is currently developing the PL-01. It measures 7 meters in length, 3.8 metres wide, and 2.8 meters tall. Its weight standard is 30 tons. With additional armor panels, this vehicle can carry 35 tons.
Interior
The interior of the PL-01 is designed to be comfortable and convenient for the crew. The PL-01's interior features a "crew member's safety capsule" within the chassis, multilayer ceramic aramid armor, and modern crew seats that lessen the effects of IED blasts and mines. The hull is protected against STANAG 4569 Levels 4a, 4b, and it also has an antimine coating all around.
